Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the maintenance and overhaul work in the natural gas compression and EPG industry in the field.
  • Trouble shooting equipment and perform equipment repairs, maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments.
  • Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
  • Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team.
  • Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead H and on various tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
  • Journeyperson Certification in Mechanic, Electrician, Millwright and Automotive may also be considered
  • Gas Compression and Well Servicing experience
  • Power Systems experience, must be capable and confident troubleshooting mechanically governed fuel delivery systems
  • Valid driver's license with a successful recent driver abstract
  • Willingness to participate and complete additional training

  • A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable.
