Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Java Developer for a RIGHT TO HIRE assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Mississauga, Canada .
Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting backend applications, with a strong focus on Java and microservices. You will contribute to system analysis, programming, troubleshooting, and implementation of solutions in coordination with the technology team.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using java and related technologies.
- Build and support microservices-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with business requirements.
- Perform application testing, debugging, and security / vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Provide technical support, resolve complex issues, and ensure smooth deployments.
- Operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, and mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Skills
