Job summary

A premier hospitality destination in Jasper, Alberta is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for a seasonal, full-time position. As a Retail Associate, you will create memorable experiences for guests while selling souvenirs, clothing, and jewelry. Ideal candidates should have a passion for guest service, be dependable, and enjoy working in a remote setting. This role offers a salary of $17 per hour and various perks including discounts and team events.

Overview

What will be your daily pursuit?: As a Retail Sales Associate you will create lasting memories for our guest’s every time walk into our store.

What will your compensation be?

The starting salary for this position is $17.00 per hour.

When does this adventure begin?

This role begins July and runs until October 18, 2025.

What will you do in this job?
  • Oversee the sales of souvenirs, clothing, and jewelry
  • Assist as needed in the Photo Department
  • Uphold our high standards of service, merchandising, and display
  • Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, the responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
  • Keep the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized
  • Communicate with co-workers and management, forward observations and comments in a timely fashion
  • Apply upselling and cross selling techniques to maximize the potential of staff incentives
  • Collect feedback forms from customers, answer the phone, facilitating efficient inventory management and movement
  • Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
  • Other duties as assigned
