Topa is looking for motivated Janitors to join our team on a full-time basis at K+S Bethune mine!

Position Title: Janitorial Floor Care

Location: K+S Bethune Mine

Start Date: Immediate

Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, wash, and polish floors and clean rugs
• Clean lobbies, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways of buildings
• Dust furniture, wash walls
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of up to 50 lbs
• Empty waste and transport to disposal area
• Replenish bathroom supplies
• Must attend all safety meetings as scheduled
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to multitask
• Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test
• Experience working in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is considered an asset
• Must have valid class 5 driver’s license
