A leader in IT consulting is seeking an IT Planner to join a major insurance client in Calgary. This hybrid position requires 2 days onsite per week. The successful candidate will have over 8 years of business architecture experience and will be responsible for strategic planning and road mapping across various departments. Exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills, along with a background in commercial insurance and consulting, are essential for this role. Insight Global is looking for an IT Planner to join a large insurance client as a full-time employee. This is a hybrid opening requiring the candidate to be onsite 2 days a week in downtown Calgary or downtown Toronto. This employee will be responsible for joining the IT Architecture and Planning team, handling all strategic planning and road mapping for business architecture across the company’s various departments. This resource will be interfacing with senior stakeholder on a day-to-day basis to access the business needs for IT support and creating long term IT roadmaps. The successful candidate will have 8+ years of business architecture experience on within the IT space, with 2 or more years of hands‑on experience creating conceptual road maps for partners within their organization. We are seeking a business transformation specialist with experience developing business roadmaps, business architecture and experience with capability modelling. This candidate will also possess strategic thinking, the ability to communicate and present with executives within the organization.
