Job description
Overview

Securiguard is expanding and now looking for a skilled and experienced IT Network Administrator to manage our computer systems and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our data communications systems.

Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (physical and virtual), including provisioning, patching, backups, monitoring, and performance optimization
  • Manage Active Directory services including user and group accounts, install and integrate new server hardware and applications
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Office 365) services, including Exchange Online mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, licensing, and security settings
  • Perform user account lifecycle management (onboarding, role changes, and offboarding)
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and perform firmware updates
  • Deploy, configure, and support Ubiquiti UniFi switches and wireless access points
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, endpoint, email, and authentication issues to minimize downtime and maintain service availability
  • Apply security best practices, including MFA, endpoint hardening, patch management and system reviews
  • Maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, and operational standards
  • Collaborate with IT team members, vendors, and service providers on infrastructure upgrades, security improvements, and incident resolution
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
  • Support and administer third-party applications
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Assist employees with computer problems and answer their questions
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of training & demonstration work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a System Administrator and/or Network Administrator role
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, including mailbox management
  • Practical experience with laptop and workstation troubleshooting, deployment and imaging
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
  • Experience supporting Ubiquiti UniFi switches and wireless access points is an asset
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud services
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V and Nutanix)
  • Familiarity with imaging and device management tools (MDT, SCCM, Intune, Autopilot)
  • Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Fortinet NSE, Network+)
