A healthcare provider is seeking an IT Analyst II to provide technical support for IT applications. The role involves resolving complex technical issues, leading initiatives, and ensuring reliable operations of information systems. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and at least three years of experience in a large IT network environment. This position requires travel to rural locations and the ability to participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation.
In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non‑pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to Information Technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.
Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
This role requires regular travel to rural locations and the ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal on‑site supervision. Working collaboratively with cross‑functional IT teams, including Network services and other technical stakeholders to resolve client issues. Minimum of three years’ experience working directly in a large IT network environment. Ability to work for extended periods at a computer. Physical ability to stand, lift equipment, climb ladders, bend, and crawl in confined spaces. Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. Willingness and availability to participate in a 24×7 on‑call rotation.
Operational experience administering Cisco WLCs and Cisco Catalyst Center in enterprise wireless environments. Strong knowledge of wireless access point deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management. Familiarity with enterprise network monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting methodologies. CCNA and CCNP certification preferred, healthcare IT experience a plus.
