We’re Hiring: IT Administrator! Are you passionate about technology and problem-solving? Do you thrive in managing systems and ensuring secure, efficient IT operations? Join the RM of West St. Paul as our IT Administrator and help us keep our municipality connected and secure!

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent (40 hrs per week)

Start Date: To be determined

Salary: $66,777.48 - $87,838.40 annually, based on experience.

What You’ll Do As our IT Administrator, you’ll manage and maintain the RM’s technology infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency. You’ll provide hands‑on technical support, oversee networks and servers, and contribute to our long‑term digital strategy.

  • Administer servers, networks, and hardware for optimal performance
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols
  • Provide first‑line technical support and troubleshoot system issues
  • Implement cybersecurity measures and conduct regular audits
  • Research and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency
  • Maintain IT inventories, budgets, and documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • Post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT administration or network management (municipal experience an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network infrastructure
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and backup solutions
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle
