This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.

Role Overview

HarbourVest Partners is currently seeking Associate candidates in Toronto that will sit on both the firm’s Direct and Primary Investment Teams. As an Associate, you will be at the forefront of evaluating both funds and companies, engaging actively in sourcing, due diligence and investment management, play a key role in our Canadian office and be part of our global investment team. You will be conducting investment analysis, with the opportunity to voice your opinions in investment discussions and be deeply involved in managing our investment portfolio. You will have the opportunity to explore a spectrum of industries from Tech to Healthcare and across investment stages, with a focus on venture and growth stage technology businesses. You will be working closely with senior leaders, supporting all aspects of the Canadian business, including reporting and interfacing with our partners and clients. This role will offer a 360‑degree view of the Venture Capital and Private Equity landscape.
