A major insurance provider in York Region is seeking a skilled professional to enhance broker satisfaction and service delivery. The role involves managing broker relationships, ensuring timely service, and maintaining communication to achieve underwriting excellence. Candidates should possess at least 4 years of personal lines insurance experience along with strong negotiation and communication skills. This position offers a hybrid flexible work model and competitive compensation ranging from $50,000 to $60,000.

Do you believe developing effective broker-partner relationships will be pivotal to your success? You will ensure communication with broker partners is consistent and fair and delivers a valuable service. This means providing superior underwriting service and balancing the broker's needs against the corporate priorities to enable profitable growth and underwriting excellence.
Deliver superior quality commitments and foster a "One Stop Shop" environment for our broker partners.
Continuously update soft skills through identified e-learning courses and product/industry knowledge through CIP/FCIP or other related industry accreditations.
Service our broker partners' needs in a timely and informed manner. Broker interactions should constantly challenge the status quo to provide best-in-class underwriting service.
You will have an opportunity to influence the Broker Survey results strongly. Dedicated steps taken throughout the year will contribute to a successful outcome of this survey.
You are committed to exhibiting high integrity when representing Broker/Aviva and dealing with team members and the leadership team.
4 years of personal lines insurance experience.
CIP designation or working towards CIP or any other insurance industry accreditations.
Strong negotiation and time management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with confident decision-making and analytical skills.

Ability to work a variety of shifts from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
The salary band for this position ranges from $50,000 to $60,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
