Our Water Supply and Treatment Sector is focused on delivering technically sound, community-oriented solutions that support infrastructure sustainability and service delivery across Western Canada. We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our team in Victoria, BC. In this role, you will manage projects, provide hydraulic modelling and planning engineering services, write competitive and non-competitive proposals, and design water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure; contributing to projects that serve Indigenous and municipal clients on Vancouver Island and beyond.
You are a detail-oriented Professional Engineer or registered EIT with 5–8 years of relevant experience, ideally including small to mid-scale infrastructure projects and exposure to Indigenous community work. You bring a solid foundation in civil or environmental engineering and are capable of managing engineering assignments with limited oversight. You have hydraulic modelling experience as well as exposure to working with GIS and handling large datasets in excel. You are comfortable working collaboratively and take pride in contributing to project delivery across planning, design, and construction phases. Strong communication skills enable you to effectively coordinate with team members, clients, and stakeholders to support successful project outcomes, and you are confident in preparing technical reports and documentation to a high professional standard.
