JDI IT is on the lookout for dynamic and ambitious Business Analysts to help digitally transform J.D. Irving’s Retail division. As a Business Analyst, you'll dive right in, take ownership, and apply critical thinking to push the status quo. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand and document business needs. Collaborating with the JDI IT team and Retail business leads, you’ll lead the delivery of solutions that improve home improvement experiences for Atlantic Canadians.Ultimately, your work will bring about meaningful positive change in the lives of Atlantic Canadians by enhancing their home improvement experiences and making their lives easier and more enjoyable.

• A University Degree in a related discipline
• At least 3 years work experience in a business environment
• Preferably experience in an IT work environment
• Expert experience in Microsoft Technologies, particularly in M365, D365, and Azure Dev Ops (ADO)
• Experience with securely integrating external and internal systems

• Building use cases (definition and development) and developing test cases
• Understanding capability of analytics tools and enabling business to act from analytical insight

• Understanding the risk tolerance/ profile of the business
• Collaborating with other JDI IT teams such as Design and Architecture, Networking, IT Security, End User Computing, etc.
• Collaborating with JDI IT’s partners in consulting and implementation
