Responsibilities

• Deliver SIIT programs and curricula to promote student success in various educational settings
• Prepare lesson plans, select instructional materials, and maintain program equipment
• Evaluate and record student progress within set time frames
• Guide and support students with academic and non-academic concerns
• Organize and supervise work experience practicums as required

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and membership in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time clinical practice experience in medical-surgical, pediatrics/labor and delivery, and/or long-term care/residential settings
• Experience with a learning management system, such as Brightspace
• Commitment to helping students learn and succeed
• Ability to maintain a safe and organized work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of First Nations cultures and organizations
• Understanding of adult learning theories and principles
• Familiarity with innovative trends in healthcare technology
• Knowledge of current healthcare systems in Northern or remote communities
