General Description

Inside Sales representative receives (by web, telephone, or email) requests for quotations, orders, and lead times from customers. Makes quotations on standard items, writes orders, and relays pertinent order information to customers. Coordinates with other departments in handling purchase orders and provide service to customers. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Answer customer calls and interact with customers to assess and understand their needs and sell and promote automation solutions
  • Provides technical support to customers regarding product use or troubleshooting.
  • Work directly with and support Outside Sales staff
  • Inventory Management, Basic understanding of shipping/receiving
  • Customer’s accounts management, Enter Job/price contracts into the operating system
  • Promotions and quotations & quote follow-up of products offered by Proax
  • Continuous training on products offered
  • Expediting of orders and follow up with customers
  • Understanding and working on Vendor’s portal
  • Checks with credit department concerning credit status of customer when rush orders are received
  • Understand customer segmentation, product balance, key customer relationships, market shares and general trends in the economic environment
  • Facilitate communications between customers, outside sales representatives, technicians, and manufacturers' representatives
  • Other related duties as assigned
Work Experience Requirements / Skills
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in Inside Sales with a demonstrated ability to deal with customers.
  • Excellent communication (oral & written), interpersonal, organization and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of Proax clearly and effectively from sales reps to senior management
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, high attention to detail, and well organized.
  • 5+ years using Microsoft Office software especially MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook
