Job Summary

WC Bradley is a leader in the outdoor grilling space, committed to delivering great experiences through high-quality grilling products and innovative solutions. An inside salesperson involves selling products and servicing remotely via phone, email, and other virtual tools. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, understanding customer needs, product knowledge, answering questions, negotiating, closing sales to meet targets, and maintaining customer records. This role requires strong communication and customer service skills and often involves working closely with other teams. This role is open to remote candidates; however, preference will be given to applicants located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia or the Greater Vancouver area.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Customer Outreach to Drive Revenue and Build the Brands: Initiate outbound communication to potential and existing customers, servicing remotely via phone, email, and other virtual tools to generate leads, present the brands and brand promise and products, negotiate terms, close sales deals, and consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Lead Prospecting and Qualifying: Identify new prospects through various channels, research their needs, understand their business models, identify gaps and guide them through the sales and product opportunities.
  • Be the expert on Product Knowledge across all brands and categories: Stay up to date on product features, pricing, marketing/promotional events and competitive offerings to answer questions and provide effective demonstrations
  • Collaboration: Work with all cross-functional teams including customer service, marketing, product development, finance and other sales managers to ensure you are developing internal relationships to assist you to do your job and ensure you and our customers have the best experience with WC Bradley.
  • Communication: This role requires strong communication and customer service skills and often involves working closely with other teams both internally and externally
Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education: Requires a level of knowledge normally gained through completion of an associate degree program

Minimum Work Experience: 3 years’ experience.

License(s) / Certification(s): Valid Driver’s License

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • 3+ years of sales experience in consumer goods, preferably in the outdoor grilling, home improvement, or appliance categories.
  • Proven track record of success in inside sales, customer service and sales growth.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a growth mindset.
  • Solid understanding of the independent and regional retail landscape in Cananda
Physical Requirements

Normal office environment.

Travel required more than 50%
