Qualifications

  • 3+ years in an insurance brokerage as a Sales Account Manager.
  • 2+ years experience in inside sales preferred.
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM or equivalent an asset.

Reporting to our Commercial Lines Manager, you will be an integral team member of one of the top independent specialty insurance brokerages worldwide. Nacora has been providing white glove risk consulting and commercial (marine and non-marine) insurance solutions, products and services to over 30 countries worldwide since 1972 and are one of the first global logistics providers to offer sustainable cargo insurance solutions. How you create impact

  • Advise, service, and manage all day-to-day client activity for your assigned book of business
  • Network and develop leads, utilizing lead lists to establish contact, schedule appointments, and meet with prospective clients
  • Utilize Epic opportunities to evaluate & measure leads, closing ratio & pipeline management
  • Own the administration of our client renewal process, managing day to day customer service activities including policy changes, cancellations, and claims assistance
  • Prepare all client facing documentation including submissions, schedules, proposals, letters, invoices, and certificates of insurance
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our Nacora insurance brokerage products and services, determining potential coverage gaps, soliciting referrals from clients, and cross sell / up sell existing Nacora book of business
  • Research carrier appetites and coverages to enable the best strategic decisions for the clients
  • Provide strategic input and tactical direction into the customer account planning process
  • Submit, negotiate & bind terms with carriers in the best interest of the clients

What we would like you to bring

  • University or College Degree / Diploma in Risk Management / Insurance, Communciations, Marketing, or other related degree is beneficial
  • RIBO Licence required
  • 3+ years in an insurance brokerage as a Sales Account Manager / Customer Service Representative
  • 2+ years experience in inside sales preferred
  • EPIC Experience beneficial
  • CAIB, CIP, CRM or equivalent (or working towards) an asset
