This position can be based out of our offices in U.S. (Pittsburgh, Rochester) or Canada (Toronto, Montreal, St. Bruno).

Your future role

As an Industrial & Supply Chain Lead, you will

  • Manage all the Industrial Operations activities on their Regional Center for products, tenders and projects (Industrialization, Supply Chain, Industrial Transfer, Manufacturing, Repairs)
  • Manage related performance (Q, C, D, EHS) in line with Signaling strategy, targets and in compliance with Alstom policies, standards (incl. local regulations)
Key accountabilities
  • Plan and lead Management Cycle of Industrial Operations Department (day-to-day to yearly plan) in support to Signaling Operations and Regional Center Management Cycles
  • Deploy Signaling industrial processes and related continuous improvement action plan in his / her Regional Center
  • Contribute to Signaling Industrial process reviews lead by process owners sharing Return of Experience and best practices
  • Monitor, report and develop on Department performance:
  • Department Performance (Budget, Customer service level, Productivity, Production capacity, planning adherence, Inventories, Lead-time, POH and Maturity (e.g. Best practice Alstom (APSYS)))
  • Tenders & Projects Performance (QCD commitment and actual, TTD, Turn Around Time, TTQ)
  • Multi-Regional Center Performance (Transfer of Competencies, Methods and Tools)
  • EHS, railways safety requirements
  • Upgrade competencies matrixes, establish the Staffing Plan (i.e. Recruitment, Trainings, Retirement Plans, …) in line with Regional Center and Signaling strategy and implement it
  • Adapt and Deploy Supply Chain strategy & footprint vs Global Supply Chain & Regional strategy
  • Identify Regional/cluster needs & define requirements for Transversal Processes & Tools, contribute to Transversal Process /Tool Definition, improvement & validation
  • Set up standards (process, methods & tools) & associated documentation
  • Manage deployment roadmap through the Regions / Cluster
  • Set up performance KPIs, KPIs targets and Animate KPIs performance review
  • Ensure compliant on process review, audits
  • Provide support to Sites vs Sites on supply chain stabilization or mobilization of emerging sites, new businesses
  • Prepare & follow budget for his/her perimeter including function cost
  • Deploy robust supply chain culture at all levels
  • Assess key Supply Chain positions competencies and animate development roadmap
