Job summary

A local government organization is looking for an Inclusion Leader for its Summer Day Camp program in Ontario. You will work alongside Day Camp Leaders to provide tailored support for children and youth with special needs, ensuring their full participation in various camp activities. The role requires at least one year of post-secondary education and experience with children. This seasonal position runs from May 23 to September 4, 2026, with competitive pay at $19.36 per hour. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a post-secondary education institution.
• Must submit a criminal record check dated within the last 3 months.
• Ability to prepare, facilitate, and adapt program plans and activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized support plans.
• Facilitate camp activities ensuring accessibility for all.
• Provide personal care and behavior management as needed.

Education

Minimum 1 year of post-secondary education

Standard First Aid with CPR Level C
