Job Details

• NOC Job Code/Title: 44101 - Family Caregiver
• Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 32 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is December 1, 2025.
• Language requirement: French or English.
• Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.
• Location: JeMa… lives in Hampstead, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection Fleet Rd and Cavendish Blvd

Duties

1. This job is to care for a 2 year old and a 10 month old child. Children’s father suffers from a chronic medical condition, and so family requires additional support at home. Care is not for the children’s father
2. Supervision of children when parents are not at home
3. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
4. Feed and change diapers for the baby. Bathe and prepare the children for naps
5. Plan, prepare and serve meals for the children. Kitchen clean-up is also required
6. General housework that will include doing laundry and some ironing
7. Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications

1. Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2. Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3. Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
