Job summary

A leading administrative services company is seeking an individual for an onsite role in Montreal, responsible for processing mail and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in an administrative or clerical position, with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Bilingualism in French is a plus. This role will be structured around a schedule between 7 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, at a competitive rate of $16/hour.

Working Arrangements: Onsite, 5 days
Possibility of extension/ conversion to FTE? No
Schedule Hours: Between 7am to 6pm EST, Monday to Friday
Rate: $16/hour

Overview

The purpose of this position is to provide the Business Units electronic images on a timely basis. This role may be responsible for opening, preparing and sorting of all mail received slated for digital imaging and subsequent processing. Analyzing the content of the documents to identify what Business area/work type it belongs to (Individual Life, Wealth Management, Affinity, GSRS, Bank and/or Group). Applying the appropriate tracking methodology for specific mail streams and processes. This role may also require performing document scanning responsibilities on high-speed scanners. Also included may be responsibilities monitoring select workflow queues to trouble shoot imaging issues directed from Business Unit processing areas. Provide the appropriate level of QC. Provide excellent quality customer service and acts as a liaison between Office Services and the Business Unit customers. Maintain a consistent workflow with the ability to set priorities and work within tight deadlines to meet all Service Level Agreements, which in turn directly impact the ability of all Business Units to process their work.

Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills
  • Minimum 1 year of admin/clerical work experience
  • Critical attention to detail and accuracy

  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs
Nice-To-Have Skills
  • Experience in mailing services industry – ex. UPS or Canada Post
  • Working knowledge of AWD, CICS, Lotus Notes, IAS, Compass, InfoDirect
  • Experience operating office equipment and ability to troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues
  • Bilingual – fluency in French is an asset
Education

Bachelor''s degree not required, looking for experience
