Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior-level experience in financial management or administration.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to undergo a Police Information Check.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the transition to new financial accounting software.
  • Manage budgets and annual financial plans.
  • Provide financial advice to the Board and stakeholders.

Skills

Proficiency in industry-standard financial accounting software
Experience with First Nations finance
Strong understanding of federal and provincial funding processes
Proven ability to lead financial transitions
Expertise in budgeting and variance analysis
Strong supervisory and mentoring skills

Education

CPA designation or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
