A leading multicultural media organization in Toronto seeks a Human Resources Manager for a maternity leave term contract. This role involves managing HR operations, developing initiatives for employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with the Canada Labour Code. Candidates should have a strong educational background in HR, at least 5 years of experience, and excellent interpersonal skills. The position offers an opportunity to impact the multicultural community and work within a supportive team.
Since 1984, TLN Media Group has been at the heart of Canada’s multicultural media landscape, connecting millions of Canadians through diverse, culturally rich content. From our flagship channel, TLN TV, to our leading Spanish and Italian language services, Univision Canada, Mediaset Italia, and TGCOM24, we’ve built a legacy of storytelling that transcends language and borders. Our unique channels, including Telebimbi, Teleniños, and EuroWorld Sport TV, bring communities together through entertainment, culture, and shared experiences.
As an independent, immigrant-owned organization, we take pride in our role as a multicultural advocacy leader. We’re not just telling stories; we’re building bridges between cultures and generations, celebrating diversity through our content and events like the iconic TD Salsa in Toronto / Salsa on St. Clair festival – Canada’s largest Latin-themed festival and street party that brings the vibrant spirit of Latin culture to life in the heart of Toronto.
We are looking for a confident, dedicated, resourceful and self-sufficient Human Resources Manager to join TLN Media Group on a maternity leave term contract. If you’re energized by the opportunity to support a dynamic and creative television media environment while representing Canada’s most influential multicultural broadcaster, this role is for you! As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a key leadership role in maintaining and enhancing TLN Media Group’s high-performance culture. You’ll manage the full spectrum of HR functions and ensure alignment with our business strategy and compliance requirements as a federally regulated employer.
Ready to Make a Difference? If you’re excited about the opportunity to contribute to Canada’s multicultural media landscape, we’d love to hear from you! We thank all applicants for their interest; only selected candidates will be connected.
