iD Tech is looking for a positive and collaborative individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist! In this role, you will be responsible for providing HR expertise on everything from employee relations to benefits administration. This is a great position for a self‑motivated, creative problem‑solver who wants to be part of a dynamic, mission‑driven company. This position will report to the VP of Human Resources and work remotely.

Day-to-Day
  • Partner with and advise managers on employee relations issues that arise, including performance management guidance, performance improvement plans, investigations, etc.
  • Oversee company engagement programs, including managing employee surveys, reviewing results with managers, and implementing activities that support employee engagement and our company culture
  • Work with team to actively monitor developments in employment laws and present recommendations on operational changes needed to comply
  • Maintain relationship with benefits brokers, oversee plan administration and open enrollment
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies, in addition to maintaining internal department process documentation
  • Oversee bi‑annual performance review process from end‑to‑end
  • Oversee compliance related activities such as annual EEO‑1, CA pay data, and ACA reporting
  • Provide guidance on the management of employee leaves of absence and coordination of FMLA, CA SDI/PFL, STD/LTD plans
  • Create systems to self‑audit processes to ensure nothing slips through the cracks
  • Cultivate an atmosphere of inclusion – one that values diversity and is encouraging of unique perspectives.
  • Anticipate and identify organizational and HR department needs in the spirit of continuous improvement
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a PHR or SPHR preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, with hands‑on experience in employee relations, ADA interactive process, and leave administration
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to coach and advise both managers and employees in alignment with company goals and values
  • Ability to prioritize and be flexible in a dynamic work environment
  • Self‑motivated and highly organized, with a curious mind and a desire for continuous learning
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws with experience administering HR policies across multiple states preferred
  • Hands‑on experience with UKG Pro preferred
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to handle private and personal information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Must have a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
