A community services organization in Calgary is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR compliance and benefits administration, with at least 2 to 3 years of experience. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Specialist is a key contributor to the organization and will be responsible for a range of HR functions and deliverables with a focus on recruitment and onboarding of paid employees, practicum students and volunteers. As an experienced HR professional, your portfolio will consist of experience in Recruitment, HR Compliance, Benefits Administration, Disability Management, HR Reporting, and Employee Relations. You prioritize collaboration with other departments and are eager to ensure the highest employee satisfaction levels. In addition, you are passionate about the principles and philosophy of Closer to Home and believe strongly in the mission and vision of the organization.
Administration positions at Closer to Home Community Services require 5 competencies: Optimizes Work Process, Interpersonal Savvy, Action Oriented, Self Development and Tech Savvy in addition to the CTH Price of Admission Competencies: Instills Trust, Person Focus, Communicates Effectively, Situational Adaptability and Ensures Accountability.

The pay range for this role is:
55,800 - 55,800 CAD per year (Calgary & Area)
