The Housing Temporary Employment Register is an online portal where you can express interest in full-time or part-time opportunities, including :

Some of the roles you may be considered for as part of our register include :

Customer Service Officer – Level 2

Works as part of a collaborative Team to deliver first class customer service aiming to ensure all eligible Western Australians have access to affordable and secure housing. This is an office based, front line position and our first point of contact for people seeking the Departments assistance.

Housing Services Officer – Level 3

Responsible for the management and monitoring of a designated number of State Public Housing tenancies to ensure Tenants are supported, payment of rent is sustained, and properties are cared for and maintained. Typically you can expect to manage between 250-300 tenancies and spend at least 2 days a week out of the office and with your tenants.

Property Services Officer – Level 3

Responsible for managing, controlling, and monitoring the property maintenance functions for a designated number of properties within the Housing Mantenance Services area as part of a Team ensuring compliance accountability and quality control is maintained. Typically you can expect to manage the maintenance needs of approx. 600 properties. This role is often in the field, inspecting properties and maintenance works carried out.

Case Manager – Level 4

Manages complex tenancy issues, including complaints and disruptive behaviour, within public housing. Conducts investigations, liaises with stakeholders, and takes appropriate action to ensure fair, effective resolution. Supports safe, sustainable housing outcomes through accountability and collaboration.
