Hotel Assistant Manager – Jasper Glacier View Lodge

At Pursuit Collection Jasper, we create unforgettable experiences for guests across iconic destinations. As a seasonal, full‑time role for Spring/Summer 2026, you will lead the entire team at Glacier View Lodge, ensuring high quality service and operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Report to the Hotels Manager and provide leadership to the front office, Host, and Housekeeping teams.
  • Oversee scheduling and training and act as Hotel Manager during absences.
  • Assist Accounting with group billings and make required adjustments to guest reservations.
  • Learn and support Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor operations; be willing to work a variety of shifts.
  • Understand and supervise Housekeeping and Host team responsibilities.
  • Handle guest complaints, give staff tools and training for consistent resolution.
  • Assist with overbooking situations and coordinate room or property moves.
  • Ensure staff are familiar with emergency procedures and maintain preparedness.
  • Coordinate information with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams.
  • Anticipate needs of arriving and in‑house guests and monitor check‑ins for groups.
  • Maintain computer equipment and liaise with IT for repairs.
  • Lead review and response to online reviews.
  • Lead hotel presentation efforts and enforce policies and disciplinary procedures.
  • Orient new employees and coordinate reservation feedback with Hotel Managers.
  • Balance room inventory nightly and adjust for late changes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
