Job summary

A regional health authority in Winnipeg is seeking a Health Care Aide for the Home Care Program. The ideal candidate will provide personal care and support to individuals with physical or cognitive impairments. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities and ensuring a respectful and effective care experience. Candidates must have completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course and effective communication skills. This position requires in-person work with anticipated start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experience providing care to individuals with physical or cognitive impairments is preferred.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure individual needs are met.
