This position is for a Permanent Full-Time Home Child Caregiver in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supervise and care for children in the employer’s or own residence.
  2. Plan, prepare, and serve meals for children; perform other housekeeping duties as needed.
  3. Oversee children’s activities, including meals and rest periods, as instructed by the employer.
  4. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  5. Instruct children in personal hygiene.
  6. Support children’s emotional well-being and social development.
  7. Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents.
  8. Provide age-appropriate educational activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings.
  9. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child, if required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, attention to detail.

Wages and Benefits: $20.00 per hour for 32-40 hours per week.

Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Child Care with Autism. Strong command of English, both written and oral.

Education: High school diploma required; First Aid Certification required.
