A food processing company in Ontario is seeking a Production Supervisor to organize and direct work on the processing floor. The ideal candidate will monitor quality checks, manage employee safety, and support training initiatives. A Bachelor's degree and supervisory experience are required. This role demands strong leadership skills and involves working in a loud, refrigerated environment.
POSITION PURPOSE: The Production Supervisor organizes and directs work on the processing floor in order to meet the required production schedule. In doing this, the Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the hourly work force carries out their assignments in a manner consistent with the expectations of the company with regard to food and plant safety, quality, productivity and cleanliness.

Education and/or experience
Bachelor's or Associate's degree (A.A.); High School diploma or equivalent required; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Progressive supervisory experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Expected to conduct majority of work in a refrigerated atmosphere. Will also have work in a freezer with extremely cold temperatures.
