Langley Christian School is accepting applications for a High School English & French Teacher to begin January 23 – June 26, 2026. This is a fixed‑term posting to cover a leave.

THE POSITION
  • The High School English & French Teacher will collaborate with members of staff to create innovative programming and learning opportunities.
  • You will ensure effective implementation of inclusive practices for all students while creating a rigorous learning environment.
  • You possess energy, commitment and readiness to participate in extra‑curricular programming by coaching basketball or volleyball.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BC Ministry of Education Certification
  • Relevant university qualifications (Bachelor of Education, minor, concentration or major in English and French)
  • Prior experience in teaching Gr. 9 English and Gr. 9 French
  • Experience in Christian Education is an asset
  • A comprehensive understanding of language curriculum as per Ministry of Education BC documents
  • High fluency with technology, including Google suites
  • Model high standards in teaching practice, interactions with all stakeholders
  • Known to communicate, negotiate, collaborate, and build partnerships effectively

  • Annual salary range of $66,150 – 109,379 based on 1.0 FTE
