Job Description: Working under the direction of the Manager, the Health Educator - Senior will support programming in Family Resources Centers and the larger community. The Health Educator - Senior will draw on theoretical and practical expertise to guide approaches using recent research and promising practices of early childhood development, including culturally relevant, trauma‑informed practices. The Health Educator - Senior ensures that programming is culturally relevant using a trauma‑informed lens. The Health Educator - Senior collaborates with team members, community partners, program participants and other key stakeholders to translate local data into early learning environments to support quality assurance, program development, and service delivery. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
