Overview

This is in Scarborough for a 12hr shift 3 days/week, may go to 24hr care. You do not need to take all shifts. We are a Team of Home Care Professionals, Compassionate, Caring and Reliable. We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those requiring support. Join our team of dedicated Support Workers and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Duties

• Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes or care facilities
• Assist with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, grooming, and medication administration
• Create a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the living spaces
• Monitor and report any changes in clients\' health or behavior

Experience

• Experience in dementia care, assisted living, or senior care is preferred
• Proficiency in meal preparation and home care tasks
• Knowledge of caregiving practices and principles
• Familiarity with medication administration procedures
• Ability to work effectively in nursing homes or similar environments
