As a dedicated HCM Consultant II within Upmarket Accounts Services, you’ll leverage our top-ranked training programs and world-class service guidelines to solve clients’ challenges and fuel their business success. You will work with an assigned book of clients who have 150 to 999 employees and be the main point of contact for payroll support or service needs. You will manage your own time and build relationships with your assigned book of clients. Your #1 goal is to help clients when they reach out; each day will be different because the questions and solutions vary.

What you’ll do: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:

Be the client’s Go-To Person and Trusted Advisor

  • Serve as a dedicated HCM Consultant II supporting clients with the payroll module of ADP’s software solution, ADP WorkforceNow
  • Manage and support a client base of approximately 30 clients, serving as their main point of contact for payroll support
  • Use breadth of expertise to support ADP's clients
  • Resolve issues and provide solutions through root cause analysis using effective communication and analytical skills

Be a Networker and Relationship Builder

  • Build relationships with clients and leverage your deep understanding of ADP's products and services to provide solutions to issues and questions, helping clients understand our product’s value and exceeding expectations in all interactions
  • Provide recommendations to ADP leadership around potential best practices, product and support process enhancements, based on client input or experience
  • Continually upgrade knowledge and skill base through a wide variety of available resources to ensure familiarity with statutory laws or legislative rulings that impact clients
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer service environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in post-secondary education and experience (preferably in business and/or human resources management).
  • A strong focus on client satisfaction in a relevant industry or as a payroll/HR practitioner with systems experience.
Bonus points for these: Preferred Qualifications
  • Up to 1 year of professional consulting experience or equivalent experience with software applications, configuration, and client systems.
  • Demonstrated learning agility, critical thinking skills, and sophisticated knowledge of HR, Payroll, Time and Labour, etc.
  • Basic understanding of payroll processing workflow from input to delivery, payroll compliance practitioner certification an asset.
  • Active listening and high-impact oral and written communication skills to effectively receive, interpret, and disseminate information clearly and concisely.
  • Initiative to seek out answers, solutions, and positive outcomes for both client and ADP.
  • Organizational skills, ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently, demonstrating resourcefulness using available tools and support resources.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $51,100 – $102,100 / Year.
