Job Description :

As a Guidewire Business Analyst, you should be able to communicate fluently with business stakeholders, developers, QA / UAT testers, and project managers / scrum masters. You will work with business partners to document requested requirements or processes, so that the associated Jira user stories can be developed and delivered.

Job Responsibilities :
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance the Guidewire application, specifically focusing on Commercial lines of business.
  • Coordinate with business owners to gather requirements through interviews and sessions for projects and enhancements.
  • Analyze requirements to assess systems’ potential and impacts on other units. Provide input to development efforts.
  • Guide users in building business cases and perform impact analysis. Support testing, implementation, and training.
  • Support system configuration and integration testing to ensure requirements are met.
  • Manage work plans, timelines, and budgets, prioritizing projects based on feedback and ROI.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements for Guidewire enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
  • Configure, customize, and test Guidewire applications to align with business needs.
  • Provide support during system implementations and upgrades.
  • Participate in integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Guidewire applications and stay updated on industry trends.
Required Skills :
  • 3 to 5 years of Business Analyst experience in an agile project environment.
  • Previous insurance-related experience preferred.
  • Business analysis experience in Guidewire: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and Rating.
