A leading logistics company is seeking a candidate for a customs brokerage position in Calgary. The role requires a Community College Diploma and a CCS qualification. Candidates must have at least 2 years of customs brokerage experience and excellent mathematical skills, with knowledge of international customs documentation. The position includes responsibilities such as ensuring compliance with Canada Customs regulations and consulting with customers. Competitive candidates should be proactive and maintain a valid driver's license.
This is an interview position.
To provide extensive customs brokerage services in accordance with Canada Customs and other government departments (OGD) regulations and legislation pertaining to over sixty acts of legislation relating to International Trade; including but not limited to high and low value (HVS/ LVS) entry processing and customer consulting.

In addition to the usual factors used in the selection process, all candidates for positions that require driving as a core competency require a valid driver’s license (e.g. Class 5,G, or 1[AZ]) and a driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the 24 months prior to the date of application. Further, candidates will be assessed through careful consideration of: 1) their current driver abstract; 2) their performance during application interviews; and 3) their performance on any driver competency assessments administered.
