Job summary

A leading forestry services provider in Penticton is seeking a Grinder Operator to join their BC Eco team. This mobile role involves operating a CBI 5800 Grinder and requires a valid Class 5 driver's license. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience with Log Loaders and possess strong mechanical aptitude. Weekly overtime and various benefits are offered, including travel expenses for remote work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating Log Loader and/or Wheel Loader.
• Experience running a Grinder or Chipper would be an asset.
• Proven safety record required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CBI 5800 Grinder and feed it with a hydraulic Log Loader.
• Feed waste wood and logs into a trailer or pile.
• Operate equipment safely and perform daily inspections.
