About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Associate to join our team through the Graduate Transition Initiative. This role bridges technical understanding with sales strategy, helping clients understand how Luxsonic’s VR medical solutions can support their educational, operational, and clinical needs. This position is funded through the Graduate Transition Initiative, delivered by techNL in partnership with the Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development. The initiative provides support to eligible companies that hire recent graduates into software development and tech sales roles, providing meaningful early‑career experience while supporting long‑term growth in Newfoundland and Labrador’s tech sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Discovery & Needs Assessment – Identify and assess client needs, challenges, and workflows.
  • Product Recommendation & Demonstration – Recommend technical solutions based on client requirements, deliver product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs.
  • Sales & Negotiation – Present solutions, negotiate pricing and terms, support contract discussions, assist in closing sales and preparing sales documentation.
  • Technical Support & Customer Success – Provide after‑sales support, troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate solutions with internal experts.
  • Relationship Management – Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, identify additional opportunities within accounts.
  • Internal Collaboration – Work closely with technical support, product development, and marketing teams, share client insights to support product and sales strategy improvements.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn technical products and explain them confidently.
  • Business acumen and an understanding of client needs and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and comfort troubleshooting issues.
  • Experience with technical tools, VR, software, or healthcare environments is an asset.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
Education Requirements
  • Completion of a minimum one‑year post‑secondary program at an NL institution (2023–2025).
  • Business, technology, health sciences, or related programs are an asset.
  • Applicants with a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience with technical products, customer service, or sales (including academic or internship experience) is beneficial.
  • Exposure to software, VR, healthcare, or other technical environments is an asset, but not required.
Graduate Transition Initiative Eligibility
  • Reside in Newfoundland & Labrador and be legally entitled to work full‑time.
  • Have completed an eligible program within the last two years.
  • Not be enrolled as a full‑time student.
  • Be available to begin full‑time employment at program start.
  • Not currently holding a full‑time permanent role in the NL tech sector.
