Angler Solutions is seeking a Scientific Computing and Modeling Developer to contribute to the ongoing development of our proprietary software platform, Model for Energy Systems Optimization (MESO). MESO is used to evaluate renewable and hybrid energy systems under technical, economic, operational, and emissions constraints.
This role focuses on scientific software development, numerical optimization, and computational modelling. You will work within a multidisciplinary team advancing the analytical and algorithmic foundations of MESO for clients across renewable energy, energy diversification, ocean technology, and upstream resources.
This position is funded through the Graduate Transition Initiative, delivered by techNL and the Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development. The initiative provides support to eligible companies that hire recent graduates into software development and tech sales roles, providing meaningful early‑career experience while supporting long‑term growth in NL’s tech sector.
