37.5 Hours/Week – $17.60/Hour – June 27, 2026 – August 21, 2026

Position Overview

Exploring the great outdoors and connecting campers with nature are just a few of the many rewarding aspects of working at Gould Lake. Exciting opportunities await educators who are passionate about the outdoors and are interested in leading wilderness-based day camp this summer with students in grades 1-6. Gould Lake Outdoor Centre runs day camp over 5‑day sessions, where students have the opportunity to participate in many outdoor activities in our unique outdoor classroom.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
  • Outdoor experience
  • Lifeguarding certification, an asset
  • Experience working with children and youth
  • Willingness to learn, including seeking and applying feedback
  • Demonstrated initiative with ability to problem solve in a professional and respectful manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, including ability to multi‑task
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Willingness to complete requisite certifications, as identified through the application process
