Job summary

A leading mining company in Canada is seeking a Geologist to deliver quality geological models and information. This role involves managing tasks, updating 3D models, and assisting in the Mineral Resources process. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, 5-8 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Datamine, Leapfrog, and Deswik software. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to work in a team are essential. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and opportunities for site visits.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in geology, with 3 years in 3D modelling.
• 3 years in resource geology is required, production geology experience is an asset.
• Experience in database building/management is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage tasks and projects assigned by the Resource Geology Supervisor.
• Update and maintain 3D lithological and structural models.
• Assist in all activities of the Mineral Resources & Mineral Reserves process.
• Identify areas for optimization and assist in procedural changes.
