A leading environmental service provider in Canada, New Brunswick, is seeking a General Laborer. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of plant grounds, operating various equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Candidates should have experience operating tractors or forklifts, possess a class 5 driver's license, and be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a temporary, full-time position until September 2026, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the General Laborer a variety of work related to the repair and general upkeep of plant(s) grounds and building(s).

Work Environment:
This is a temporary, full-time position, until September 2026. The incumbent of this position must be available during periods of high production and must be able to work under pressure, occasionally.
May be exposed to possible operations hazards including caustic and acidic chemicals, heavy machinery, hot or cold work environment temperatures, slippery surfaces, water hazards and electrical equipment.
Amount of time spent – Standing 55%, Walking 15%, Sitting 30%.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Required to use ladders or stairs.
The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (occasionally 60 pounds).
