At Techo-Bloc, our Production Labourers play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations. This position is perfect for those who are new to the industry or looking for a stepping stone to a career in manufacturing.

Our production laborers are true concrete connoisseurs! On a daily basis, you will be handling and inspecting concrete blocks, while serving as the "right hand" to our machine operators and maintenance crew.

• Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment in the plant, either manually or with mechanical equipment;
• Perform complete examination of finished product for height, shape, color and consistency applying knowledge of company specific standards as indicated and applicable for production systems;
• Complete block checks, remove all defective parts from pallet or carton and replace defective parts with quality parts. These duties vary depending on the production line, product and process to which the laborer is assigned;
• Sort, pack, crate and wrap materials and products;
• Performs other laborer and worker duties;
• Clean machines and work areas.

Qualifications

• You will use your manual skills. You will frequently be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). We won't hide it from you, this is a physically demanding position;
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and a combination of postures: sitting, standing and walking required;
• Punctuality, concentration and attention to detail;
• Team spirit and collaboration.
