Work Shift

12 hour shifts. Training could be on days or nights, but positions are all night positions once qualified. Day shift works 7am-7pm. Night shift work 7pm-7am. $2.00 night differential. Some training could be Monday-Friday on 8 hour shifts. Overtime and Weekends required.

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will set up and operate a machine that runs cheese for some of the biggest restaurants and retailers in the world. Your role includes monitoring equipment and performing a variety of quality checks to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine equipment for cheese production.
• Monitor equipment and perform quality checks to meet customer requirements.
• Wear required safety gear at no cost and follow good manufacturing practices.
• Maintain a satisfactory attendance record and be punctual.
• Work overtime, including weekends and off‑shifts, as required.
• Perform CP, CCP, QP, and CQP checks required for the position.
• Follow reaction plans for food safety, food quality, and customer requirement deviations.
• Conduct manual labor tasks such as inspection, rework, and sort operations as needed.
• Work as part of a team and comply with plant policies and procedures.
• Utilize Process Excellence tools to improve plant performance and complete projects directed by Department Team Leaders.
• Learn P.E. and SPS tools and support PE initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift or carry up to 50 pounds, and reach shoulder height and above.
• Willingness to work weekends, off‑shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Basic math, counting, calculator, and basic computer skills.
• Forklift driving skills may be required.
• Must have authorization to work in the country where the role is located.

• Work in cold, hot, or wet environments up to 12 hours per day.

Pay Scale

Starting $23.58; 24 months top out $27.77; Night differential $2.00.
