Job description

Overview

The Home Inn & Suites by d3h - Regina Airport West is hiring a Full-Time Houseperson. Shifts will be from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. You will be required to work weekends as well as varying weekday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas according to hotel standards (vacuum carpets, empty wastebaskets, wash windows, clean washrooms).
• Keep walkways clear of snow and debris.
• Assist hotel staff with minor maintenance issues.
• Assist housekeeping, laundry and front desk staff when required.
• Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner.
• Comply with hotel safety and emergency procedures and maintain security for guests and property.
• Perform other tasks assigned, such as deep cleaning and seasonal cleaning.
• Clean assigned guest rooms according to housekeeping standards.
• Comply with the hotel\'s Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines and Regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements

• The successful candidate must be driven, self-starter, motivated and knowledgeable of the hotel operating environment.
• You must be legally entitled to work in Canada (employer does not have a Labour Market Opinion to support a foreign worker).
