Overview

Front Desk Agent – The Bankers Alley Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The Bankers Alley Hotel Nashville is seeking 2 full-time Guest Service Agents to join the Front Office team. Our unique, art-filled hotel in downtown Nashville is near Broadway attractions, including Nissan Stadium, Bridgestone Arena, and the Ryman Auditorium.

The ideal candidate will have comparable Front Desk experience (preferably with Hilton) or a minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, and full availability to work the evolving hospitality schedule, which includes overnight shifts. This is an opportunity to begin a career in hospitality.

Shift Pattern
  • One position is for PM shifts only, starting as early as 3:00 PM and ending as late as 11:30 PM. Availability for weekends and holidays is required.
  • The second position has a split schedule with 3 MID shifts, as early as 11:00 AM–12:00 PM, and 2 overnight shifts starting at 11:00 PM and ending by 7:30 AM. Availability for weekends and holidays is required.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and complete the registration process (input information, confirm guest details and rate, select rooms, code electronic keys, promote programs, provide welcome packets, and assist with luggage as needed)
  • Assist guests with check-out (ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted, use the point-of-sale system, handle payments, process various forms of payment, convert currency, and process certificates)
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information (room categories and rates, packages, promotions, local area, and general product knowledge) and answer guest questions
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues promptly and courteously
  • Handle guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction
  • Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests
