What You’ll Be Doing
  • Consistently delivering thoughtful, professional, and proactive guest service
  • Taking initiative to add a personalized experience
  • Greeting, checking-in, responding to requests, and settling accounts while providing exceptional service
  • Proudly promoting the hotel facilities and looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
  • Promoting our loyalty program and driving revenues by upselling guest experiences
  • Following departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety policies and procedures
  • Performing other duties as required to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience working with Opera or a related property management system
  • Luxury hotel experience is considered a strong asset
  • Service-focused personality with previous experience in a guest-facing role
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service while remaining calm, courteous, and professional in challenging situations
  • Strong communication skills, with written, verbal, and comprehensive fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
  • Ability to present oneself professionally and communicate articulately with guests and colleagues
  • Keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively
  • Accurate and efficient cash-handling skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment
  • Highly responsible, reliable, and dependable
  • Ability to work rotating and flexible schedules, including early mornings, late nights, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays (essential requirement)
Physical Requirements of the Position
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to kneel, bend, squat, and navigate stairs or ramps as required during daily operations

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
