Position Overview

Backfill the position of Freight Handler / Forklift Operator Lead at our Calgary location. The role is critical for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring timely freight handling, and supporting team efficiency. This backfill is required to maintain service levels and operational continuity following the departure of the previous incumbent.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and coordinating daily freight handling activities.
• Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assisting in training and guiding team members to meet operational standards.
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company procedures.
• Supporting inventory control and accurate documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED; Minimum three years related experience. Minimum six months supervisory experience. Minimum two years industry experience, preferred.

Skills

• Forklift Driver Certification
• Valid state issued driver’s license, preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to drive and/or operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck and pallet jack.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
