Job summary

AIP Connect is seeking contractors for future Controller roles to manage financial tasks such as budgeting and cash flow analysis. While this is not an immediate opening, qualified individuals can apply to be on the radar of an upcoming opportunity within a large consulting firm. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Controller may include but are not limited to:

• Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Period-end financial reporting and working paper preparation
• Financial management
• Maintaining the integrity of the accounting system and inputs
• Understanding, implementing, and monitoring an adequate control environment
• Supervising an accounting team
• Proficiency in accounting software and ability to transact in multiple programs
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g., MS Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Job costing skills
• Ability to work with software and learn new software quickly
• Prioritization and management of competing priorities with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
