Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a detail-oriented, dedicated, and driven individual to join our team as an Engagement Programs Advisor. The ideal candidate will have experience with planning and organizing events, running employee programs, and coming up with innovative engagement ideas for a workforce of 15,000.

Who You Are

You have a worked in Human Resources or related fields for a minimum of 3 – 5 years. You have experience in project management, event organization, facilitation, and relationship building. You have a demonstrated proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to attend work on a regular basis
  • Physically capable of performing job duties (loading & unloading, lifting, setting up)
  • Able to travel to Horizon facilities across the province (must have valid NB drivers license)
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position
  • Good work record

Certified Human Resources professional or equivalent. University degree in a relevant discipline.

Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.

What You Will Do

The Engagement Programs Advisor is responsible to:

  • Provide direct support to the Regional Manager Engagement Programs.
  • Support the development of engagement programs and resources
  • Implement and execute logistics that support the Recognition and Engagement Strategy
  • Identify, establish, prepare and execute communication plans as it relates to engagement
  • Identify opportunities to integrate engagement
  • Collaborate with internal and external program developers to ensure Recognition tools are updated and appropriate to support our customers/users
  • Evaluate processes to provide ongoing recommendations to enhance recognition programs
  • Support and influence updates for the highly successful recognition program Bravo!
  • Assist in the change management process
  • Identify inefficiencies, provide solutions, and implement solutions as needed
  • Assist and/or deliver facilitation of key initiatives as needed for multiple organizational groups
