Role Overview
As the Franchise Sales and Development Manager you will have a direct hand in achieving our ambitious expansion goals and launching the Mad Radish brand across Canada. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll manage our franchisee pipeline, from lead generation to deal signing. You’ll set the strategy for finding and developing viable franchise partners and initiate continuous improvements to our franchise sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead all aspects of the company’s franchisee recruitment and selection
· Build a franchise development pipeline and process that consistently maintains a sufficient inventory of qualified new franchise prospects to meet the company’s short/long-term growth plans
· Maintain solid relationships with new franchisees to maximize new business opportunities for these franchise partners
· Develop effective franchise sales programs that generate interest in the brand from prospective franchisees
· Successfully open franchise stores, achieving the company’s unit growth objectives
· Leverage past experiences, and best-demonstrated practices to maximize ROI of company’s restaurant capital expenditures
· Utilize market analysis and demographic research to maximize restaurant unit growth and brand penetration
· Liaise between development, operations, and the construction teams
Requirements
· Solid negotiation skills with a high capacity for managing complexity
· Proven ability to develop high value partnerships
· High energy and enthusiasm, integrity, and superior communication skills (both verbal and written)
· Strong analytical and organizational skills to evaluate current systems and processes and implement “best in class” practices going forward
